Iberia Flying non-stop between Madrid and Tokyo (Narita) codeshare flights with Iberia commencing October 18, 2016

Starting October 18, 2016, Iberia will operate three direct flights a week between Madrid and Tokyo (Narita), the first time in nearly 20 years that Iberia is able to offer direct flights on this route. All flights will be operated as codeshare with Japan Airlines. In addition to round-trip flights between Spain and Japan, this will extend our network to even more destinations across Europe via Madrid.
We will continue striving to improve the quality of all JAL services whilst at the same time working closely with our partners to offer customers increased satisfaction through ever more options and services.

From May 1, 2016, British Airways is servicing codeshare flights flying Frankfurt - Narita.
Customers can use the oneworld network and transfer via Frankfurt to easily reach many destinations in Europe.

Finnair Direct flights flying Helsinki – Fukuoka are taking off May 7, 2016!

Finnair is launching its first Kyushu route on May 7, 2016!
Travelers can effortlessly get to Fukuoka from more than 60 cities in Europe via conveniently-located Helsinki Airport.
Passengers will reach Fukuoka in some 9 hours and 30 minutes, much less time than before. Flights depart three times a week between May 7 and October 9, 2016.

The eco-friendly Boeing 787-9 is 20% more fuel-efficient than previous models, and passengers will enjoy the comfort of a cabin that is 60% quieter. In addition to larger windows and comfortable air pressure and humidity settings, special lighting sets the scene for moment to moment in-flight events.
JAL has also begun using 777-300ER aircraft on the London - Tokyo (Haneda) route, and customers on this service are able to enjoy the latest on-demand in-flight entertainment system technology.
