[Bonus Mileage!]JAL Family Club (JALFC) Bonus Mileage Campaign
oneworld JALFC is offering five exclusive campaigns with great opportunities to earn some bonus miles.
1. Flight Bonus Miles
[Campaign period]
April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008 (date of boarding) All JALFC members will receive 300 miles on their all JAL Group International flights (including code-share flights booked as JAL flights) with the eligible fares for JMB mileage accumulation.
2. Membership Enrollment Bonus Miles
[Campaign period] April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008
(date of application) All new JALFC primary members will receive 1,000 bonus miles.
3. JALFC Member Introduction Bonus Miles
[Campaign period] April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008

[Important]JMB Discontinues Mileage Statement and E-Summary
After April 2007, Quarterly mileage statements sent to eligible members by regular mail or e-mail will be discontinued.
JMB members will still be able to verify mileage activity and balances via our Web site, URLwww.aor.jal.com.

[Important]Terminat ion of JMB travel Coupon Oceania Awards
Please be informed that the JMB Travel Coupon Oceania Awards will be terminated on July 31, 2007 (award request date). The award coupons will be valid till the last day of the 6th month following the month in which the award is issued.
Changes to the JMB Rules and Conditions
Effective April 1, 2007, the provision below will change as follows: JMB Rules and Conditions (29) VALIDITY OF AWARDS B
[Current Article]
The validity of upgrade awards for travel on JAL will be the same period as the ticket purchased for use with the upgrade award and within a maximum of one year from the date the upgrade award is issued. In order to use upgrade awards a Member or a Designated person must have an Eligible Ticket.
"Eligible Tickets" mean all tickets other than award tickets and tickets that are not eligible for upgrades in accordance with fare rules or under sales conditions such as individual or group all-inclusive package tour fares, travel agent discount fares, tour conductor fares.
[New Article]
Upgrade awards for travel on JAL are valid only for the flight for which reservations and mileage redemption is made. In order to use upgrade awards a Member or a Designated person must have an Eligible Ticket.

[Important]Changes to the JMB Rules and Conditions and the Use of Award Tickets
Please be informed that changes to a portion of the JMB Rules and Conditions and the terms of use that apply to JMB awards will take effect April 1, 2007.
JMB processing fees will be lowered and standardized.
 
(1) Mileage Reinstatement Service fee 5,000 miles/JPY 5,000 (or equivalent) will be lowered to 3,000 miles/JPY 3,000 (or equivalent).
(2) International Same-Day Upgrade Award Service fee 6,000 miles/JPY 6,000 (or equivalent) will be lowered to 3,000 miles/JPY 3,000 (or equivalent).
* One handling fee will be charged for each award.
Changes to JAL Group International Award Tickets and Upgrade Awards
 
Changes of sectors or number of sectors are not permitted.
* Only changes of flight number and flight date are permitted.
Different Classes of Service on JAL Group International Award Tickets
 
When different classes of service are involved in a roundtrip journey, required mileage will be a sum of half the roundtrip required mileage for each class of service.
For journeys that involve three or more sectors for the whole journey where the classes differ in the respective sectors, mileage of the higher class will be taken accordingly in each way of the journey.
JAL Group International Upgrade Awards
 
(1) Validity
JAL Group International Upgrade Award is only valid on the flight reserved. However if the changes are requested before the flight departure, the changes of flight and date are permitted on the condition that it is within one year from the mileage redemption date. (No Charge) Changes of class or sector, or to make it open dated are not permitted. Unless the requests are made before the flight departure, mileage will not be refunded.
(2) Tickets eligible for Upgrade Awards
Purchased tickets with the eligible booking classes are required in order to use the Upgrade Awards for departures on or after April 1,2007.

Tickets with booking classes J/C/D/Y/B/H/K/L printed in the CLASS column of tickets.
* S class fares issued on and before January 20, 2007 are eligible for upgrade awards.
Tickets not eligible for Upgrade Awards
Tickets for individual or group inclusive tour fares, JAL Goku fares, special discounted fares, JMB award tickets or tickets subject to special provisions.
* Certain types of fares are not eligible for upgrade irrespective of booking.
Deadlines of changes of JAL Joint Award Tickets and JMB Partner Airlines Award Tickets
 
Effective April 1, 2007 (request date), deadlines of changes of JAL Joint Award Tickets and JMB Partner Airlines Award Tickets will be as follows:
Before departure
Tickets not issued as e-ticket
7 days prior to the departure date of the first sector
(Before the change or after the change whichever is earlier)
e-Tickets
3 days prior to the departure date of the first sector

Any change will not be allowed.
